No, you do not need a doctor's referral to work with me. Please ask your extended health insurance provider if a referral is required for services to be reimbursed.

Extended health insurance often provides some coverage for Speech-Language Pathology services. We are able to bill some insurance companies directly. Many university students have extended health insurance through their university and other people often have benefits through their work, for themselves or their children.
Funding may be available through Jordan's Principle for First Nations children or through Child and Family Services for children in care.

Yes! Groups are run by McGill practicum students who are completing the final practicum of their Master's Degree with our clinic, and supervised by Stephanie Harvey, Speech-Language Pathologist. Current groups are listed here. Groups are run on a sliding scale to make them accessible to anyone who could benefit.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is the most commonly-used North American name. I prefer this name to "Speech Therapist" because I offer a whole range of support - therapy is just one part of what I offer.
